EOW Is Becoming a Community

When we launched the European Ovary Workshop in 2025, we had one goal: create a space where ovarian researchers could finally come together — not at the margins of a bigger congress, but in a room that was entirely theirs.

What happened in Lagos exceeded everything we had hoped for. The sessions were packed. The debates were alive. New collaborations were born over dinner and continued over coffee the next morning. People who had been citing each other’s papers for years finally put faces to names. And when it was over, almost everyone said the same thing: we don’t want to wait two years to do this again.

We heard you.

EOW is growing beyond the workshop.

Starting now, the EOW website is becoming a year-round community platform — a home for ovarian researchers between editions, not just around them.

What does that mean in practice?

  • A members’ area where you can create a profile, share your research focus, and be found by collaborators across the globe
  • An ambassador programme — a first cohort of researchers who will help animate the community, welcome new members, and represent their regions and research themes
  • Updates on open positions and fertility events across the community
  • A growing space for OvaREN, the early career network that has been one of the most energetic parts of EOW from the start

This is just the beginning. We are building this deliberately and carefully — because a community built too fast, without the right people holding it together, doesn’t last. We’d rather grow something real.

Creating a profile is free and takes two minutes. Charter members — the people who join before the platform is fully launched — will be the first to hear about the ambassador programme, EOW2027 updates, and everything we’re building next.

And if you’re someone who wants to do more than just be a member — if you want to help shape what this community becomes — keep an eye out for our Ambassador Call, opening soon.

EOW2025 showed us what this field looks like when it has a room of its own. We’re building that room to stay open year-round.

See you inside.
